World bank Approved $1.6 Billion for Financial Assistance to Pakistan. Pakistan’s Current Economy Situation is not good.

Pakistan’s default risk reaches alarming levels: Miftah Ismail Said and other economist also saying same that Pakistan in financial crisis.

In the meeting of the Board of Executive Directors of the World Bank, 1.6 billion dollars was approved for the financial assistance of Pakistan.

The World Bank will fund 5 projects for the flood-affected areas of Sindh, which will support rehabilitation, construction of houses, crop production, 2 projects will be for health services for mothers and children, emergency flood recovery in Sindh. 50 crore dollars will be provided for this.

The World Bank will provide an additional $500 million for housing reconstruction, $290 million for Sindh’s agriculture sector, and $20 million for social security.

The World Bank will provide 2 crore dollars for health related projects.
