Islamabad United have retained eight player in there team for PSL 2023. In which two players are foreign and rest of players are from Pakistan which are retained. Islamabad United captain will be Shadab Khan and vice captain will be Asif Ali. Islamabad United is only team which won Pakistan Super League (PSL) title two times. Retain players of Islamabad United Shadab Khan, Asif Ali, M Wasim JR, Hasan Ali, Azam Khan, Faheem Ashraf, Paul Stirling and Colin Munro.
Karachi Kings retentions players list
Karachi Kings also hold eight players for PSL 2023. Karachi Kings all player which are retained for PSL 2023 all are from Pakistan. This season of PSL 2023 Iman Wasim will be captain of Karachi Kings last season Babar Azam is doing captaincy of Karachi Kings. Retain players of Karachi Kings Haider Ali, Shoaib Malik, Iman Wasim, M Amir, Sharjeel Khan, Mir Hamza, Aameer Yamin and Qasim Akram.

Lahore Qalandar retained 8 players for upcoming PSL. In Lahore Qalandar 3 foreign player are retained for PSL 2023. Lahore Qalandar is the winner of last PSL 2022. Lahore Qalandar Captain will be Shaheen Shah Afridi who help Lahore Qalandar to win the title of last season of Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2022. Multan Sultan retained eight player in which 2 are foreign player and rest of 6 players are from Pakistan. Multan Sultan is the champion of PSL 2021. Multan Sultan captain of PSL 2023 will be Mohammad Rizwan. He is a wicket keeper batsman who is also playing in Pakistan cricket team. Retain players of Multan Sultan Mohammad Rizwan, Shan Masood, Khushdil Shah, Rilee Rossouw, Shahnawaz Dahani, Tim David, Ihsanullah and Abbas Afridi.
Peshawar Zalmi retentions players list
Peshawar Zalmi Retained 7 Players in which the biggest change is Babar Azam on exchange of Shoaib Malik to Karachi Kings. 2 players are foreign and rest of 5 players are from Pakistan. Peshawar Zalmi is the most competitive team who always qualify for top four. Peshawar Zalmi captain will be Babar Azam as sources confirms that because Babar Azam is also captain of Pakistan National team.
